As the handle in the side of driver's seat and the latch of hood (engine cover) are connected with each other, the hood is opened unlocking the latch in case a driver pulls the handle to open the engine room. This cable is to transmit the dynamic force necessary for opening hood. It is being currently applied to domestic automakers, but it was developed by INFAC for the first time in Korea, 20 years ago. Also, it has competitive price compared with other products. The inner wire of hood latch cable was made of stainless considering corrosion resistance and high durability.
